About Me

Hi! My name is Kimberly Midkiff, and I am a photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I began pursuing photography full-time when I graduated from The Art Institute with my BFA in Digital Photography, and I haven't looked back since.

I have enjoyed a variety of experiences being a lead photographer, second shooter, and a photography assistant on set for commercial campaigns. These opportunities range from events and portraits to studio set ups. I love the teamwork that these jobs allow for and the satisfaction we all get to feel for a job exceptionally well done.

My personal work is primarily landscape and street photography, mostly on 35mm film. I find great pride in expressing and peace I feel in these environments. Particularly in nature, whether at the bottom of a waterfall or at the top of a mountain, the overwhelming emotion I feel is something I wouldn't trade for the world.
